Lancashire Double Glazing's biggest ever glazing project enters final phase

LDG Group Ltd, one of the North West's largest window system design, fabrication and installation companies, has just announced that their work on the prestigious £100M Lytham Quays Residential Development has entered its final phase prior to completion.

Lancashire Double Glazing embarked on the £1M contract to provide windows and doors to all the properties at the development alongside conservatories for roughly half of the houses and villas. Lancashire Double Glazing started fabricating and installing doors and windows for the development back in February 2007 as part of the staged release of completed properties onto the market.

Lancashire Double Glazing had a team of up to eight installers working on site supported by Lee Plummer, Trade Sales and Processing Manager who also Contract Managed the project, to ensure all windows and doors were installed to the exact deadlines of the developers Kensington Developments. Kensington Developments have an enviable track record of designing and building quality desirable homes throughout the North West of England and especially around the Fylde Coast. All their homes are built to the highest standards and are covered by the NHBC Build mark.

Lancashire Double Glazing was chosen for this prestigious development by Kensington Developments as they are one of only a small number of window system design, fabrication and installation companies in the region with the resources and skills to deliver such a large project on time with no compromise on quality using internal systems and skilled personnel. LDG and LDG Contracts track record of successfully delivering quality projects for the public and private sector stretching back over 30 years was also another key factor in the decision to offer LDG the contract.

The Lytham Quays development offers spacious apartments, mews style town houses, and luxury detached homes and villas on the banks of the Ribble Estuary in Lytham taking in views of Lytham Green, the windmill, the estuary & nature reserve. There are 18 six-bedroom seafront villas, 40 luxury apartments, 62 four and five bedroom houses and 132 two and three bedroom mews dwellings. The properties are a mix of sizes, styles and prices, with detached homes from £490,000, mews homes from £202,000, and a seafront apartment block with luxury penthouses at £885,000. Seafront villas are also available will price tags of up to £2M.
