Partners in excellence

The Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP) have signed an agreement to become ‘Partners in Building Services Excellence’.
The formal agreement was signed, Tuesday 11 May at ECA Headquarters in London by NFOPP Chief Executive, Peter Bolton King and ECA Group CEO, David Pollock.
This announcement is the culmination of several months of discussions regarding ways in which both organisations can work together to influence policy makers in Government, drive industry standards and deliver enhanced benefits and information provision to their members.
Chief Executive of NFOPP, Peter Bolton King, said: “Our over-arching aim is, and always has been, to promote the highest standards of professionalism and integrity among those working within the property industry and so I'm delighted we have reached this collaborative agreement with the ECA. This opportunity provides a trusted forum in which to share best practice and exchange advice and ideas. Being able to access the expertise of the electrical contracting community will also be of particularly great value to our members.”
By becoming ‘Partners in Building Services Excellence’, both parties commit to work together to develop and promote excellence in building services engineering standards, while sharing access to member benefits and services.
ECA Group CEO, David Pollock said: “In a mutable marketplace, it is vitally important that we form strong alliances with other prominent industry bodies with similar aims and objectives to our own. We welcome the opportunity offered by our new partnership with the NFOPP to advance our members’ mutual interests, and to share valuable services.”
