Having opened a new office in Harlow, Essex, just this summer, well known Irish company WALSH M&E has already signed three impressive contracts worth several million pounds.
Maintaining their Irish connections, WALSH M&E UK will be part of the team responsible for the re-development of The Irish Club’ s recently attained 5,000 square feet building in Tudor Street, London. The second, and larger contract, will see the company deliver full M&E services on the latest phase of Farnborough’s Sixth Form College development, replacing the existing 1960’s Scola block Physics and Arts building. The most recently commissioned contract will require the WALSH Team to deliver the shell and core infrastructure for the multi-million pound development to the existing Kennet Shopping complex, Newbury. The development includes a seven screen multiplex cinema and five new restaurants with direct access to the shopping centre.
WALSH M&E UK will be ably led by Tony McArdle, UK Director with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. When asked about the UK venture Tony said “Delivering these first UK contracts is an exciting challenge, and we are determined that the services we provide will be to the highest possible standard. The WALSH Group is a dynamic organisation and we are keen to forge new partnerships, and build upon our extensive blue chip and public sector client base”
Moving forward, we are particularly keen to work with commercial and domestic construction organisations, having successfully completed major M&E contracts with retail outlets, hotels, hospitals, schools and colleges, leisure centres, hotels and apartments. We understand the M&E complexities of each environment.”
